March 8th, 2017 – Picket against layoffs and union busting at MPM
5pm Wednesday March 8th at 800 W. Wells
On Tuesday, Milwaukee Public Museum management announced plans to cut $1 million dollars from employee’s wages through layoffs and reduced hours. Fourteen union employees will be affected including the gutting of the world-renowned exhibits staff that made MPM’s acclaimed exhibits.

“MPM management is asking for millions in taxpayer money to build a fancy new building, while cutting the staff that makes MPM a special, clean, and safe gathering space for our community,” said Jaclyn Kelly, president of AFSCME Local 526. “Milwaukee will expect the same world-class museum exhibits and services. The loss of the people that do that highly skilled work will decrease MPM’s ability to provide the same educational and family experiences they’ve had for generations.”

Local 526 calls upon the Milwaukee Public Museum and Milwaukee County to maintain the jobs of people personally and professionally committed to providing outstanding public service, education, research, and programs in a safe, clean, child- and family-friendly environment. Don’t lay off the people who make it happen.

12pm at 3rd and Wisconsin.
Rally starts at noon at 3rd St. and Wisconsin Ave. outside the Blue Building, followed by a march to the Federal Courthouse.

Trump is pouring gasoline on an already terrible war by firing missiles and maintaining ground troops in Syria. More military involvement by the U.S. will not solve any problems in Syria, but will create a deeper humanitarian and refugee crisis. We demand money for human needs such as refugee resettlement, healthcare, and education, not more war! We demand the immediate end to US bombing and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria, as well as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen.

April 11th, 2017 – SAD! 100 Days of Trump Art Show
3pm-12am at Riverwest Public House
The pathetic Riverwest Public House (815 E. Locust St.) is doing some kind of “art” show based on me called “Sad! 100 Days of Trump.” Very weak! Nobody knows more about art than Donald J. Trump, believe me, and this is just disgusting. FAKE ART! They even have a “Thump-a-Trump Arcade Game” created by so-called artist Brian Holoubek. Just an old whack-a-mole, pathetic! Not art!

Other failed “artists” displaying work include Susan Simensky Bietila, Michael Weiss, J.Jason Groschopf, Xeroine, Stacey Williams-Ng, Aimee Leonard, David Beyer Jr., Alex Groh, and Lauryl Sulfate. Liars!

There’s an opening night for this on Tuesday, April 11. Drinking Liberally —LOSERS!—meets at 6:30pm to complain about Trump. Sad! Then at 9pm, there’s a show by Dumpster Doves, Mandy Cappleman, more TBA, just awful. Not real musicians like Ted Nugent. All fake!

April 21st, 2017 – Jax5 Call In Day – Melissa Nelson, Drop the charges on the Jax5!
The #Jax5 are tentatively scheduled to have their first day in court on May 1st.
